Teaching cum Learning Experience at Vivekananda College of Education(VCE): A step Towards Becoming Techno Academician

To write about experience and to disseminate information and knowledge is my motto of life. In the Four Day Internship (3 days for me) at VCE fulfilled my motto of life to some extent because I got both knowledge and the chance to spread it with the pupil teachers of the college. I enjoyed a lot in teaching at the same time learned many things from students, my peer and the college.
I spend much time with my laptop, my smartphone in exploring new things and here I am success that I could apply what I learned. We peer teachers first demonstrated things like wiki, portfolio, blog and then we reached to every individual to help him/her out to complete the task. Many of the students did not even have email ids although they are having smartphones ( It is because they are from Andaman and internet connectivity is very less there) , so we reached to the grass root level of teaching technology by helping them creating their email Ids first. And then taking each individual and helping him/her in all possible manner to create first edmodo account , then wiki page of their home town , e-portfolio, and blog.

One of the attractive part of the internship was the adoption of new techniques of teaching. The team teaching technique used by my peers was something different and the reflection of the students proved that it was fruitful. Dividing the class into small groups and involving one two of us with the group was a great strategy we adopted as it gave immense result. In the short span of time we made it possible to complete each task.
The attitude, behavior and eagerness and curiosity of the pupil teachers' is what made our task success joyfully. The respect given by them was overwhelming which in every point of our internship made us feel that yes we are working as teacher educators. For me the environment of the college was very homely as most of the students are Bengali speaking there ( As most of them are from Andaman).
A question was raised by a student what is the use of edmodo ,it is merely wastage of time like we do in whatsapp and facebook. The answer is what we have learnt in all these four days is all the use of it and it is edmodo for which every one is able to read each others reflections, suggestions, comments.
Lastly I would like to express my special thanks of gratitude to our guide Dr Sreekala E as well as the principal of VCE Dr. (Mrs.) Raghi P. Nair who gave us the golden opportunity to do this wonderful internship. Secondly I would like to thank my peer would be teacher educators for their co-operation and support, Special thanks to day scholars for their delicious lunch.

My Experience in Pondicherry University

As-salamuwalaikum , may peace mercy and blessing of god be upon all of you. Today I am going to write my reflection on Pondicherry University, although I have spent about 8 months only but there are lot to write as Pondicherry has given me so many good as well as bad experiences. I joined this lush green University on July 2, 2015 in M.Ed under School of Education. I would like to say here why did I choose this university... As I did my B.Sc and B.Ed from Aligarh Muslim University, I had a thirstb on me to pursue all my higher degrees in central universities only, secondly I wanted to have some experience of South India, Some of my friends did their PG, M.ed they were also the inspiration for me. And the most importsnt reason is to improve my English and access wifi 24*7 hour.
Good Experiences:
1.      Got environment for improving my English
2.      Got good friens ,both in class and university.
3.      Experiencing a mini India as our M.ed batch of 25 students , having students form 10 different states and UTs .
4.      This one is funny but true, less petrol price- enjoying ride
5.      More open culture , which was not thre in AMU.
6.      New methodology of teaching learning in the department
7.      Collaborative way of teaching.
Bad Experiences:
1.      Weathere does not suite me, facing some skin allergy.
2.      Food of south India is always a problem for North Indians and vice versa, but it is more good than AMU ,so I am adjusting some how.
3.      High fees in all academic matters ,like admission fee, mess fee, examination fee,etc
4.      Dominating nature of some teachers.
5.      Partiality among some teachers.

Every institute has its pros and cons , leaving behind all these things Pondicherry ,obviously is a good education hub. Any one wishing to pursue higher education can join this central university which is recently ranked 13th in India by MHRD.

RTI: Made Easy

RTI- Right To Information Act.2005, I think we all know about it, but question is how well do we utilize it......We all think its a very lengthy process who will go for it... But no it is not a lenthy one if any body wants to file an RTI he/she can file it online as well.....From the official site https://rtionline.gov.in . This is An Initiative of Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India.
only Rs. 10 is required for the RTI which one can pay by Debit/ Credit/ Net Banking. And it is more fast then the traditional way of making RTI. I did and I got splendid result.
Please visit the official site https://rtionline.gov.in for detail info.
